Hong Kong, 30th Dec
Breakfast was at another chinese dim sum restaurant who claims to be the best in HK wor. So we mah try lo. And all I can say is "Dear readers, never be fooled by all these who claims to be the best from where where where."
From Nathan Road at Yau Ma Tei, we walked up to North of Kowloon. 1st stop was Sportswear Street. This is where daddy bought his beloved Adidas shoe. Along the road, there were so many hawker style food. Before leaving KL I was all prepared to eat it the HK way, which is to eat roadside food. Then when I saw their food, I almost puke!
We kept walking and asking for directions along the way to the famous Fa Yuen street a.k.a. the goldfish market at Mong Kok. This place is like one stop away from my hotel's MTR. Blardy far, but we made it!!
We asked the owner if we could "smuggle" them gold fishies to KL and he was like "WHY NOT!! Majority of my customers comes from Malaysia and Singapore to name a few. We just pack it air tight for them. But you must stuff them in between your check in luggages. When you put your bags through the x-ray scanner thing, they know what is it but they will let you through. The reason why you cannot hand carry them is because they scared the water leaks, the fishes jump out causing trouble in the plane. But checking them in is fine. So, do you want??" No thanks!! Poor fishes...
Then we kept walking. I'm not sure if this is Lui Yan Kai or Miu Kai. I'm so confuse =.=" But I know we were already at Prince Edward that time. We saved so much money on transportation by walking. Yeeha!
Bought lots of tokidoki bags. The price? DAMN EFFING CHEAP!! I felt like I got conned in KL the last time I bought it. The price of a big big big bag in HK = a small small bag like mine in KL. Chi sin.
From there, we took MTR to Wong Tai Sin temple. The station's name is also Wong Tai Sin. Glamorous.
Welcome all to Wong Tai Sin temple. They say this temple is very "leng". All your wishes will be granted wan wor. So of course must pay this temple a visit right?
It was a sunday. I know it will surely be pack. But pack with people offering foods etc to gods?? We knew it must be some special day but we just don't know what day it was.
Then we went back to our hotel to put our shopping bags down. Walked heading towards Mong Kok area and had lunch at this coffe shop like shop. They sell all sorts of noodles. Wan Tan Min, Yu Min, Kahly Min. But take note. Their Kahly Min is not spicy/hot at all.
The soup is like normal original soup. You can choose your own noodle, but this noodle shown above is Yu Min [fish noodle]. The curry, is actually inside the meatball. Its just curry powder in the balls. They asked my sis if it was spicy and sis said, not at all. The lady boss was saying "Wah you very clever to eat spicy food hor. To us, this is very very spicy lor."
While we were shopping at this local brand shop, we suddenly heard some very loud noises, like there was a parade going on outside. And tada! China people with the support of some HK people were having a "parade" along Nathan Road. The crowd were estimated to be at least 2 to 3 km long, said dad. They were having a very peaceful demonstration to create awareness among the citizens of HK to free themselves from communists?

Their riot is so so different from what we have here in KL. In HK, they have police escorts and directing traffics. So so organized.
The video...
Now, it is time to continue SHOPPING!! We didn't know how far Tsim Tsa Tsui was from our hotel and based on the fact that we actually went to Prince Edward by foot, there wasn't any reason why we couldn't walk to Tsim Tsa Tsui. Well, at least that was dad's opinion. And due to man's great ego who refuses to ask for directions or advises from local people, even though the kind policeman told us it is wayyyyy to far to go on foot and advises us to take a bus or train, he REFUSES to follow.
So, due to man's ego once again, we walked! Walk walk walk and finally he gave in. We were all so tired of walking and when he decided to take the train [finally!!], we weren't even at Jordan yet!! [Jordan is one train stop before Tsim Tsa Tsui]. And all the while we thought we were at least somewhere in Jordan. It was really really really a long walk.
Finally we reached Jordan's MTR station and took a train to Tsim Tsa Tsui. Hence, the picture above.
We walked at don't know where randomly and went to Harbour City Plaza. Famous place, I agree. Didn't know it was all branded lines.
After shopping and dinner, we were kinda late to watch the Musical Lights at Avenue of Stars [The Walk Of Fame]. While I wanted to watch it very badly, others couldn't catch up with me, I could only see Su and sometimes Dad and then the crowd from far and in the end? We didn't get to watch any. Aawww...
But at least! I went to the Avenue of Stars, the famous place where HK actors/actresses like to come here to chui fung when their down. Looking over to HK lights from Kowloon is just so so wonderful.
While the folks went back to the hotel to rest, the 3 young ladies continued their shopping adventure. Went to Greenville Road. Told the taxi the name in English. He didn't understand. Showed him the map. Words were to small, he couldn't read. Pointed out to him, he said he will drop us somewhere around there.
So he dropped us at the streets. Then! We walked around the whole area, kinda small, nothing much to buy. Stopped at this shop selling mobile phones. Asked the young guy where's Greenville Road. He went in to the shop, took a travel guide book and told us to point to him in English, while he figure it out in Chinese. To our surprise he said, "Oh, turn here turn there walk down turn again.", well something like that. Followed his instructions and we ended up at the same place the taxi driver stopped us =.="
We stopped at HUI LAU SAN!! Final drink before leaving tomorrow. Sobz. I soooooo miss Hui Lau San la.

From Tsim Tsa Tsui area, we walked along Nathan Road towards Jordan then Yau Ma Tei.
Yes, we actually walked so so much!! And shopped not so much. Oh well. Their clothes are not very nice and not very cheap. Nothing much to buy or maybe we didn't go to the right place to shop.
Thank god I borrowed Suet's bag at a very last minute!
Now for some random pictures, you can find posters like this everywhere!! They are so open, they have no laws?!! I guess.
